Last night and today have been amazing, genuinely the best birthday I can remember. I was so happy that it was a little surprise that everyone came last night.

Also, I just went out for a little birthday meal with le parents, a bottle of wine and three amaretto shots later, I may be slightly tipsy. But like toasty tipsy, like a BBC Radio 4 programme on the politics of Bird Watching so it’s okay.
