Blues Funeral is so good. I got like a promo copy, and i’ve listened to it a stupid amount of times. Lanegan and synths are a strangely brilliant combination as well. I’m going to try and see him when he’s in LondonDamn you and your promo copies aha.
But ugh, I’m still annoyed that I missed him when he was doing Soulsavers and played R+L because of some hideous clash, so I’m gonna try my upmost to catch him when he comes round this time, especially seeing as though I have no gigs lined up at the moment and it’s slowly killing me.
Saame. I’ve always wanted to see him live, it’s supposed to be an experience. I read somewhere that for someone who pretty much stands still for the whole gig and nods his head a couple of times, he has a ridiculous amount of stage presence.
I have two gigs that I want to try and go to, but they’re smaller bands playing Brighton, and it’s kind of only because of the site that i’m seeing them, even though they’re good and all of that, they aren’t Lanegan. I’ve seen QotSA twice, and I was praying he’d come and play a couple of songs with them, but alas, he didn’t, and I went away broken hearted
